Annual Report of the Session 2022-23
Learning is not attained by chance, it must be attempted with ardor and attended with diligence. Springdales Primary School, is one of the best schools in discovering,
developing and inculcating a comprehensive and holistic education, which caters to the physical, emotional and cognitive development of children.
The 2022-23 School year was marked with joyful learning, celebrations, competitions and achievements. Every day was a combination of consistent and sincere efforts by
all stakeholders to ensure a productive and enjoyable learning experience for our
students.
Parent Teacher meetings and Open Days: – They were held bimonthly to keep the parents informed about their child’s performance in the school.
Fee:– The fee for the year 2023-24 has been approved by the School Level fee Committee.
Enhancement of Facilities: – 4 New Computer Systems have been installed and a new computer lab was established. 23 CCTV cameras were installed in the building to
make the vigilance more powerful.
Academic Achievement
Competitions and academic activities that go beyond the textbooks and the classrooms encourage a healthy and competitive spirit among the students
Science, Mathematics, English, G.K., and Cyber Olympiad are conducted every year and the students Perform excellently at all levels.

Co-Curricular Activities: – These are an essential part of the life of an educational institution as they strengthen the classroom learning as well as develop the personality of the child and harness the in-depth potential of Students.
The activities were conducted throughout the year.
These are as follows:-
Rakhi Making Competition: – On the occasion of Rakshabandhan, Rakhi Making Competition was organized in the month of August. Children also tied Rakhi to their classmates and learned about the bond of love between siblings.
Janmashtami Celebration: – The birth of Lord Krishna was celebrated as Janmashthmi in the month of August. To praise Lord Krishna the tableau (Jhanki) was decorated. Story of Lord Kirshna was narrated to students by teachers.
Drawing Competitions: – In the month of September Drawing Competition was organized for all classes where children exhibited their talent with the help of various shades of colors and their art.
Gandhi Jayanti: – Birthday of “Father of Nation” one of the three national festivals was celebrated in School on 02nd October. On this day Children prepared the badges which carried one of the virtues of Gandhi Ji.
Art & Science Exhibition: – In today’s era education is not only confined to reading and writing. It is now linked to holistic development of the children. With the efforts of teachers and students, the Art & Science Exhibition was organized in the month of October. Where students prepared working models on various topics. Students presented Nukkad Natika on “How to Save the Environment”. The projects exhibited were presenting various ecosystems. The central project was one of the greatest presentations of our honorable Prime Minister ‘Ayush”. The Exhibition was a huge success.
Children’s Day/ Sports Day’s:- Like Studies, Sports are also essential. If studies are for the soul, sports are for the body. On 14th November; on the occasion of Children’s Day we celebrated Sports Day with full enthusiasm.
Children participated with full zeal in various races and were happy to win medals on their victory. To bring more joy to the event Students presented various dances like Cheerleader Dance, Zumba Dance etc.
Dandiya Celebration: – In the month of November the school organized ‘Dandia Raas’ very enthusiastically. The students gathered in school in colorful traditional attires and danced with full happiness with their dandiya sticks.
Diwali Celebration: – Diwali the Festival of lights was celebrated by teachers and students wholeheartedly. Students did various activities like decorating diyas, candles, thali etc. Children also exhibited their art by preparing Rangoli. A short assembly was conducted where the Principal explained the importance of Diwali, the festival spirituality signifies the victory of light over darkness, knowledge of over ignorance, good over evil and hope over despair.
Apna Ghar Visit (Old Age Home Visit):– In the month of December before the arrival of Santa Claus our students visited “Apna Ghar” – The Old Age Home to attain their blessings and share happiness, love and joy with the residents of the Institution. Children loved to spend time with them. The children brought smiles on their faces by singing songs and their dance performances.
Christmas Celebration: – Christmas is for joy, forgiving and sharing, for laughter, for coming together with family and friends. The School wore a festive look with stars, bells and a Christmas tree. The children were told about the birth of Lord Jesus Christ and the legend of Santa Claus.
Children prepared and exhibited skit on the birth of Jesus Christ. The boundless joy of celebrating the festival was amply visible on the faces of the children especially when Santa moved around distributing sweets to them.
Lohri Celebration: The Punjabi folk festival was celebrated on 13th January in our School. The day was commemorated with immense joy, enthusiasm. All children danced to the tapping music to the fullest.
74th Republic Day Celebration: – Management, staff and students assembled to pay respect to all freedom fighters who toiled to bring the constitution of India into existence.
After the unfurling of the flag, mesmerizing performances were given by students which included patriotic songs, Taekwondo & Dance.
Holi Celebration: – Holi was celebrated by all the students and teachers, by applying colour and wishing all a good prosperous year ahead. An initiative was taken up to apply a ‘tikka’ to all students on holi.
The students would have their Oral Assessments done from the 23rd of February till 28th February
2023. They would be writing their Final Assessment papers from 1st March till 15th March.

21st March 2023, Tuesday for classes I & II
22nd March 2023, Wednesday for Classes III, IV & V
